Impressive Attention to Detail
Implementing an Enigma simulator is not overly difficult, and there are several open source examples available on the Internet. What sets this application apart is the UI: the developer spent a lot of time and effort to recreate the look and feel of the original machine, down to the actual sounds. The result is visually rich, engaging, and just plain fun to use.
If youre looking for fast, modern, bulk encryption...this is not it. But if you want to try one of the most historically significant crypto devices of World War II, this is well worth the price.
